About Westward Gallery
Westward Gallery, on Tennyson Street, is the shared vision of long-time friends Michelle Courier and Patti Klapish. Both women have an extensive history in the art field, but from different perspectives. Michelle is an accomplished, highly sought after artist and Patti an avid art collector with over two decades of experience. Inevitably they connected through their passion for art and eventually their friendship blossomed into the realization of a dream, Westward Gallery in Denver, Colorado. The gallery is a haven for accomplished artists, serves as home-base for art consulting and is a community focal point.
The gallery features Michelle’s highly sought after works as well as several other artists throughout the country. Creations from renowned artists like Gregory Simmons and Danielle Hatherley adorn the vast gallery walls. At any given time, visitors can experience amazing pieces from a dozen artists. The collections are curated with the Colorado lifestyle in mind.
In addition to opening the gallery, Michelle and Patti also had the vision to leverage their extensive art backgrounds to help homeowners and interior designers preview and select the perfect piece for a special room or commercial space. The combination of artistic skill and collector knowledge insures their clients the perfect selection to make a room, office or commercial space truly dynamic.
After hours, you’ll find Westward’s Berkeley neighbors practicing yoga, sharing ideas with a book club, or enjoying an evening meet and greet. Gallery director and curator, Jordan Villacruzes explains, “One of the great things about working with Patti and Michelle is that they care about our community. We work very hard to make Westward a welcoming and comfortable place for our neighbors to congregate and connect.”
Michelle, Patti and Jordan personally invite you to stop in anytime you are in the Berkeley neighborhood. They also would love to schedule a private meeting to explore the gallery and their art consulting services.
