Throughout my years of painting I've come to realize the importance of process and that there is purpose in every step.
My work utilizes raw and refined elements to create a sense of depth and texture that recognizes this process.
Using rags, brushes, sanders and a few unconventional tools I apply layers of latex, enamel, acrylics, graphite and resin onto handmade wooden panels. The outcome is reached through a labored process of construction and deconstruction all the while questioning the images full potential.
